13th Gateway International Trade Fair to Boost Ogun State’s Economy, Job Opportunities

The 13th Gateway International Trade Fair, announced by the Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela, is set to make a significant impact on the state’s economy and job opportunities.
At a press conference held in Abeokuta, Sofela emphasized that the fair, taking place from April 19 to 29 at the Trade Fair Complex, will serve as a premier platform to showcase the state’s economic potential, promote trade and investment opportunities, and foster partnerships both locally and internationally. This exciting event aims to boost the competitiveness of local industries and raise awareness of market trends and opportunities.
The Commissioner, represented by Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Trade, Oluyemisi Somorin – Dawodu, noted that such events would enhance the competitiveness of local industries.
The President of Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), Engineer Mike Akingbade, highlighted the importance of the trade fair as an exhibition designed for industries to showcase their products and services.
With a wide array of exhibitors representing various sectors such as industry, trade, agriculture, and services, the Gateway International Trade Fair brings together diverse industries under one roof. This dynamic convergence aims to facilitate networking, explore business collaborations, and provide a valuable platform for industry players to connect with potential customers and partners.
