In line with his resolve in ensuring the growth of Education across the country, the Executive Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun has renewed his vow to rehabilitate public schools across all Local Government Areas in the state.

This was made known by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin in a statement. Abiodun made this known when he received the Ogun State chapter of the Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria at the Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

He stated that his government was making plans to launch an Education Trust fund that will finance the set-up of a special community that will be saddled with the responsibility of rehabilitating public schools in the state.

He explained that the special committee would look into the public schools that are not included in the State Universal Basic Education Board programme.

Furthermore, he noted that primary school teachers are important to the education value chain, saying that his administration would continue to do all it can to continue to develop the education sector in the state.
