NIGERIA POLICE OPENS ONLINE PLATFORM TO REPORT ALL FORMS OF CYBERCRIME

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, has charged Nigerians to report all forms of cybercrime – identity theft, child sexual exploitation, cyber-stalking, cyber-bullying, credit card fraud, internet fraud and other forms of cybercrime online through the Nigeria Police Force Cybercrime Reporting Portal.

The police boss in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, also revealed that the Nigeria Police Force has expanded its Force Intelligence Capacity with a new Smart Office Complex.

According to the statement, the Cybercrime Reporting Portal (https://t.co/kwutQ9tICU, interpolnigeria@npf.gov.ng, via WhatsApp on 07043797900, and via call/SMS on 08094557845) which is domiciled at the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, avails the Force with access to intelligence and data sharing between the 195 member countries of the INTERPOL.
