BROTHERS CHARGED FOR IMPERSONATING MILITARY PERSONNEL

Magistrate A. O Adeyemi ordered two brothers in a magistrate’s Court at Ota in Ogun state on Wednesday Segun, 39, and Elijah Ogundeji, 20, to sweep the court premises for three months without an option of a fine for impersonating military personnel.

The police charged the convicts, whose addresses were not provided, with impersonation and conspiracy, and they pleaded guilty to the offense.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp E.O. Adaraloye, told the court that the convicts committed the offense on September 2 at about 5.30 p.m. at Ijako Church area, Ota.

The prosecutor said the offense contravenes the provisions of sections 384 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
