24-YEAR-OLD LADY STABS BOYFRIEND TO DEATH IN MARARABA, NASARAWA

Alice Mulak of Ungwan Gwari, Karu LGA, have been arrested and taken to ‘A’ Division police station in Nasarawa State, led by CSP Musa Babayola, for stabbing her boyfriend to death with a knife. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel.

According to the PPRO, preliminary investigation revealed that the incident happened behind City Rock Hotel, Mararaba, when the deceased and his girlfriend engaged themselves in fisticuffs due to a misunderstanding.

He said the suspect was later arrested, and the knife used in perpetrating the offense was recovered based on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi.

“The suspect has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia for further investigation and subsequent prosecution,” he added.
