NOTHING WILL STOP MY GOVERNMENT FROM ENSURING OGUN STATE INDIGENES ENJOYS THE VERY BEST OF GOVERNANCE:DAPO ABIODUN

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has restated that his administration will not be discouraged by misinformation and unpatriotic actions at ensuring even, fair, just, and equitable dividends of democracy to the people.

Governor Abiodun disclosed this in Ijebu-Ode at a town hall meeting held preparing for the year 2023-2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), and year 2023 Budget, describing the session as an avenue that would bring about a transition budget to drive consolidation of the viable policies, programs, and activities for the people of the State.

The Governor maintained that the meeting which engenders an all-inclusive and participatory disposition to governance would provide unique opportunities for the people to make meaningful contributions to the process of delivering an impactful budget in the coming year.

“This town hall meeting, being the first in the series, engenders a bottom-up approach which affords the people a unique opportunity to make meaningful contributions that will assist in providing a focused leadership. We are indeed elated that all our policies and programs have continued to yield positive impact, which is evident in our Internally Generated Revenue”, he noted.

Reeling out government interventions since 2019 and plans for 2023 in the Ogun East Senatorial District of the State, Abiodun revealed that the Internally Generated Revenue for January to September had increased to over N70billion and N100billion in the year 2021, saying his administration had constructed and completed the Ilisan-Ago Iwoye road that had been in a deplorable state for more than 11 years, among many other projects.

The Governor added that the Ogun State Agro Cargo Airport was gradually being intensified to commence operation soon, while deliberate efforts were being geared towards partnering with private investors on other initiatives such as the Multi-Modal Transportation Scheme, Special Agro-Processing Zones, and many more, assuring that grading of rural roads in the District would commence in earnest
