A university lecturer has reportedly gifted students who attended his first class to 100 dollars following the suspension of ASUU strike.
The news was shared by a Twitter user identified as @peter_pentane, who disclosed that the lecturer gave out the notes to 10 lucky students.
Pictures making the rounds online captures a student holding the note while in the office of the lecturer, identified as Dr. Bisi.
The Tweet reads:
“Omo, one lecturer for art in University of Ibadan give 10 students who attended his first class 100 dollar each.”
In reaction, Wendy_adammaa wrote: “This lecturer been Dey do yahoo during the break Abi nah”
_deagram wrote: “The attendance will be massive in next class”
Seunbharbs wrote: “One of the best Lecturers in the University of Ibadan, Communications & Language Arts Department.”
There were however those who condemned his actions as they said his action of spending a foreign currency in the Country will only Devalue Naira the more.
