EXERCISE STILL WATERS: ARMY COMMANDANT VISITS OGUN OPERATIONS CAMP

The Commandant, Nigerian Army College of Logistics, Major General Adekunle Adeyinka has led students of the Junior Leadership staff Officers’ course to the operation camp of the Nigerian Army special security outfit code named Exercise Still waters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The 35 Artillery Brigade is currently undergoing the exercise to strengthen Security during the festive period.

Few days after the General Officer Commanding 81 Division of Nigerian Army visited the operation camp of the Exercise Still Waters in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, the Commandant, Nigerian Army College of Logistics, Major General Adekunle Adeyinka has led students of Junior Leadership staff Officers’ course to the camp for on the field training and assessment.

He was conducted round the camp by the Commandant of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Isa Abdullah

They were taken to different section of the camp and provided with the required brief

They also had the opportunity of seeing how units operate on the field and how military operations are conducted.

Representative of the students of Junior Leadership staff officers course said they were exposed to real field training exercise at tactical level and they appreciate the experience the training has given them.

The Military had launched Operation Still Water in several parts of the Country as part of efforts aimed at enhancing the Security of Lives and Property during the Festive period and beyond.

The Special Military Operation is Currently ongoing in Lagos, Bayelsa and some Other States and the visit is part of efforts to ensure the readiness and battel posture of troops involved is at a very good level.
