Ogun Permanent Secretary Urge Staffers to Uphold Oath of Secrecy

Mr. Dahunsi Ogunleye, the permanent secretary office of the governor has urged staffers to adhere strictly to the oath of secrecy, as entails in the functions and roles of Civil Servants.

Mr. Ogunleye gave this charge during a familiarisation meeting with workers in the Offices of the Governor and Chief of Staff, saying the government on his part would continue to boost workers’ morale by providing welfare packages, incentives, and training and retraining of staffers.

He assured them of better days ahead, noting that a workplace should be conducive for the staff to enhance efficiency in the implementation of government policies and programs.

The Permanent Secretary called on the staff to be self-disciplined, punctual, honest, and dedicated to duties at all times, saying “to whom much is given much is expected”. He added that his office is widely open to meaningful suggestions and observations that could help enhance the operations of the offices.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Director, Office of the Chief of Staff, Mr. Olumuyiwa Idowu maintained that the posting of Mr. Ogunleye to the Governor’s Office was a homecoming, assuring of the staffers’ cooperation.
