Prince Dapo Abiodun Hosts Dr. Akin Adesina At Ogun State Government Office
The executive Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun received the president of African development bank, Dr. akin Adesina at the Ogun state government office on Monday, 30th January 2023.
The governor is a statement released on his Twitter account said” We received the President of the African Development Bank (@AfDB_Group) Group, Dr. @akin_adesina with his wife Grace Adesina who were on a courtesy visit to our office this afternoon.
“Dr Adesina, while speaking, noted that supporting 34 countries with 20 million farmers producing $12billion’s worth of food, the $1.5billion Emergency Food Production Facility will support food sufficiency in Africa. This in evens as the facility was put in place in response to Russia’s war against Ukraine and its effect on global food security.
“He also commended our Administration for the all-cargo airport set to be commissioned in Q1 2023, which according to him, would facilitate agro-industrial development in Ogun State” he concluded.
