22-year-old factory worker neglected after losing arm at workplace
Adekunle Sokunbi and his family, have accused the owner of the Spring seed feeds Factory in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, Mrs Dayo Seriki, of relinquishment after he lost his arm in an incident at the factory in April 2022.
The former factory worker,revealed that he had been decongesting one of the machines in the factory, when a colleague of his, one David, went to put it on and which in the process damaged his arm.
Mrs Seriki has denied the claims via her lawyer, who said that Sokunbi, had ignored the company’s safety measures and had voluntarily exposed himself to harm.
She claim the young man wasn’t entitled to any compensation.
