Remo North Local Government Set to Distribute FG/OGSG Palliatives
The Remo North Local Government, Ogun State has completed necessary arrangement to distribute the FG/OGSG first batch of palliatives (rice) on Wednesday, 27th September, 2023 at the Local Government Secretariat, along Isara Remo – Ago Iwoye Road by 10am.
Information in this respect was made available by the Executive Chairman, Remo North Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Adedapo Odunsi at the Second (2nd) Palliatives Distribution Committee meeting held on Monday, 25th September, 2023 at the Chairman’s Conference Room, Remo North Local Government, Ogun State.
The meeting had in attendance:
Hon. Kola Awolaja, Hon. Member, OGHA, Remo North State Constituency; Hon. Oluwaseyi Esho, Deputy Leader, RNLG Legislative Council; Mr. Olayinka Babajide Ajayi, SLG, Remo North LGA; Alhaji (Omo’ba) Abiola Ogundeko, Fmr. GLO, Remo North LGA; Prince Gbemisola Obadeyi, Rep. Remo North LGA Traditional Council; Chief Sunday Osiyemi, Baale Imagbon, Isara Remo; Baale Adekunle Ayoola, etc.
Also in attendance were; Chief Fatai Adekoya Idowu, Rep. Olorituns, Remo North LGA; Omo’ba Tai Olufemi Ajayi, Zonal CDC, Remo North LGA; Ven. S. O. Oyetade, Rep. Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) Remo North LGA; Alhaji Sanni Ireyemi, Rep. League of Imams and Alfas, Remo North LGA; Imam Ambali K. Opafola, Rep. League of Imams and Alfas; Remo North LGA and Comrade Adeniyi Adekanbi.
Hon. (Prince) Adedapo Odunsi, the Executive Chairman, Remo North Local Government said that, the committee members are people of honour and integrity that will do justice to the distribution in accordance with the directive from the FG/OGSG.
The palliative would be given to the selected and approved organizations, associations and bodies for onward distribution to the most needy people in the society.
These associations and organizations include Royal Traditional Council, Christian Association of Nigeria, Muslim Community, Isese, Baales, Olorituns, Iyalojas, Youths Associations, Physically Challenged Persons, Non-indigenes (Arewa, Ibo, Ohori, Calabar and Igede.
The Committee members and other stakeholders were enjoined to be on ground on Wednesday, 27th September, 2023 by 9am.
