Ogun State Launches OgunTEACH Program
The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced the commencement of the Ogun State Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel (OgunTEACh).
This special intervention scheme, developed in collaboration with the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), aims to address the existing vacancies in the Public Primary/Secondary Schools and Technical Colleges across the state.
Interested applicants are required to possess the necessary qualifications, including NCE with a minimum of merit in teaching subjects, B.A. (Ed)/BSc (Ed)/B.Ed. with a minimum of second class lower division in teaching subjects, and B.Tech(Ed)/B.Sc(Ed)(Tech)/B.Eng./B.Tech/BSc/HND with specialization in subjects offered in Technical Colleges (for Technical Colleges only). To apply, individuals must register through the OgunTEACh portal by visiting ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng/ogun_teach. The online registration period will be open from Wednesday, November 22nd to Saturday, December 9th, 2023.
Successful applicants, known as OgunTEACh interns, will be deployed to Local Government Areas in need of their services. They will receive a monthly stipend for a duration of two years. Upon completion, interns will be assessed based on their expertise, commitment to duty, and impact in the field of education.
