The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially commenced the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two Orientation Course, marking a significant milestone for freshly graduated youths across Nigeria. With a total of 103,000 Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) registered for this year’s exercise, the NYSC aims to equip them with essential skills and foster national integration.
Scheduled to begin nationwide on Wednesday, 17th April 2024, the orientation course will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of corps members. By organizing mobilization in batches and streams, the NYSC ensures a smooth process and optimal health conditions for all participants. The extension of the call-up period allows more graduates to participate in the June 2024 Orientation Exercise.
Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the Director General of NYSC, encourages all PCMs embarking on this transformative journey to embrace the opportunity fully. As they prepare to serve their country, these young men and women carry with them the promise of positive change and national unity.
