Remo Stars Among Other NPFL Clubs Battle for Veteran Coach Abdullahi Maikaba

Abdullahi Maikaba is now open to new opportunities following his departure from Kano Pillars last season. The veteran coach has become a highly sought-after person in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), with Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars, and Katsina United all vying for his services.

According to insider reports, Katsina United and Bendel Insurance have already made inquiries about Maikaba’s availability. Katsina United is currently without a head coach following Abubakar Bala’s resignation, making Maikaba a prime target for the club.

Remo Stars are also considering adding the experienced tactician to their coaching staff. Maikaba’s extensive experience, including stints with Enyimba, Akwa United, Plateau United, and Rangers, makes him a worthy candidate.

In addition to the NPFL clubs, Nigeria National League side Wikki Tourists have expressed interest in bringing Maikaba back.
