Nigerian Referees to Officiate CAF Confederation Cup Clash

A team of Nigerian referees has been appointed to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup Group C match between Mozambique’s Black Bulls and Egypt’s Al Masry in Maputo on Sunday.

The referees, all of whom hold FIFA badges, will play a crucial role in ensuring a fair and smooth contest between the two teams.

At the center of the action will be seasoned referee Joseph Ogabor, who will be assisted by Abdulmajeed Usman Olaide and Yakubu Mohammed as assistant referees one and two, respectively.

Abubakar Abdulahi will serve as the fourth official, providing additional support to the refereeing team. The referee assessor for the match will be Burundi’s Mfubusa Bernard.

The match between Black Bulls and Al Masry is one of two Group C clashes scheduled for Sunday. In the other match, Nigeria’s Enyimba will host reigning champions Zamalek of Egypt. The CAF Confederation Cup is an annual club football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for eligible African clubs.
