Wake-Keep Service for Madam Christiana Ademiro Olaide Samuel-Taiwo.

On Thursday, 18th September 2025, the family of Madam Christiana Ademiro Olaide Samuel-Taiwo, fondly called Iya Olobi, held a dignified wake-keep service in her honor. The gathering brought together family members, relatives, neighbors, friends, and well-wishers who came to celebrate her life and pay their last respects.

The program began with an opening prayer led by Rev. Mrs. Elizabeth Aluko, committing the service into God’s hands. The congregation lifted their voices in hymns and songs of praise, which created a reflective yet uplifting atmosphere. Scripture readings and sermons followed, offering words of comfort and hope to the bereaved family and all in attendance.

One of her daughters gave a moving tribute, describing her late mother as a strong woman who loved family, promoted togetherness, and lived a life of kindness and helpfulness. She expressed gratitude on behalf of the family for a long, well-spent life. Family members and neighbors also shared glowing testimonies, speaking warmly about her generosity, selflessness, and the positive impact she had on everyone around her.

The service was marked by deep reflection, heartfelt tributes, and songs of thanksgiving. The exhortation delivered by the officiating minister emphasized the beauty of a life lived in faith and service, and the assurance of eternal rest.

In conclusion, the wake-keep service was a fitting tribute to Iya Olobi—a mother, grandmother, and community pillar whose legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to be remembered.
