Sagamu Chairman Commends Governor Abiodun for Fulfilling Road Construction Promise

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has applauded the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for fulfilling his pledge to construct the Aiyepe Road leading to the Sagamu Local Government Secretariat.
Odulate described the governor as a promise keeper whose administration has continued to deliver on its commitments to grassroots development.
Speaking during an interview with Ogun State Television (OGTV) in his office on Monday, the council boss recalled that Governor Abiodun had, at the end of his first term, pledged to rehabilitate and construct key roads across the state, including the access road to the Sagamu Secretariat.
“Today, we are proud to say that His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has kept his promise. The construction of this road is not just a campaign pledge fulfilled but proof of his dedication to grassroots development. The road has enhanced access to the Sagamu Local Government Secretariat, boosted commercial activities, and improved movement across our communities,” Odulate said.
He also noted that other major roads in the area, including the Oba Erinwole Road and Ajegunle Road, have recently received government attention, describing the projects as clear evidence of the governor’s commitment to even development across Ogun State.
“As a Local Government, we are complementing these efforts by rehabilitating several inner roads within our wards to ease movement for our people,” he added.
Odulate reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to partner with the state government to sustain the pace of development in Sagamu, assuring residents that more community-focused projects are underway.
He further appreciated Governor Abiodun for his inclusive and people-centered governance, adding that the people of Sagamu would continue to support his administration as it drives the Gateway State toward greater prosperity.
