The official launch of the Remo Day 2025 Second Edition commenced with a press conference held at the Akarigbo Palace press room. The briefing was attended by distinguished personalities, stakeholders, media representatives, contestants, and members of the press.

The briefing commenced with an opening remark from Hon. Prince Abiola Ogundeko, who warmly welcomed all the committees involved in the Remo Day celebrations and acknowledged the presence of the press representatives. He then handed over the proceedings to Otunba Seni Adetu, the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Remo Growth Development Foundation.

Religious Observances:
A Muslim prayer session was held at the Central Mosque in Ogere on friday, December 19th. This was followed by a church service at Ogijo on sunday December 21st, where Kabiesi Ogijo formally appreciated the Akarigbo of Remoland for recognizing Ogijo as an integral part of Remoland.
Cultural Displays:
The cultural displays continues into the following day December 23rd showcasing the rich traditions of Remoland.
Miss Remo Pageant:
The beauty pageant, featuring contestants from across Remoland, is scheduled for December 26th at the Ikenne Ereke Civic Centre.
Grand Finale:
The culmination will be the grand finale at the Pavilion within the Akarigbo Palace, Ita Oba, on December 27th. Over 50 entities, including associations and groups, are expected to participast, surpassing last year’s numbers.
Logistics and Security:
To ensure a smooth event, major roads around the venue will be temporarily blocked, with buses stationed at strategic junctions to facilitate transportation. Security agencies and safety personnel will be on standby throughout Sagamu, with the Area Command overseeing overall security arrangements.

Major groups, associations, and dignitaries will have dedicated stands around the pavilion, fostering engagement and showcasing community spirit.
