Nigerian influencer Tunde Ednut has alleged that Regina Daniels’ recent public appearance with a suspected new boyfriend abroad triggered her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, to arrest her close friend, Ann. Ednut made the claim in an Instagram post on Monday evening, addressing Ned Nwoko directly over Ann’s detention.
Ann was arrested by Lagos State police on charges of theft and other allegations leveled against her by the senator. The arrest occurred just days after Regina Daniels was seen at a club with a new man, sparking rumors of a breakup and fueling tensions between her and Nwoko.
Also, Ednut urged Ned Nwoko to move on from the situation and stop targeting Regina’s family members. He acknowledged Nwoko’s influence but advised him to find a different approach, saying, “It’s enough. We know you are powerful and influential, but it’s ok sir. Grandpa, at this point, you have to move on.”
He further called out Nwoko to cease his attempts to arrest Regina’s brother, suggesting that the senator should accept that Regina no longer wants him. Ednut emphasized that the recent arrest was likely triggered by the viral photo of Regina with her new boyfriend’s hand on her hips, implying that it intensified the ongoing tension.
In his appeal, Ednut urged Nwoko to let Regina Daniels go and focus on his responsibilities as a senator, reminding him, “You have work to do, Ooo!” His comments reflect the ongoing public drama surrounding Regina Daniels, her alleged new relationship, and her strained relationship with Nwoko.
