Remo Methodist High School Students Visit ERI-NBE 94.7 FM for Educational Tour

On Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, students from Remo Methodist High School embarked on an educational excursion to ERI-NBE 94.7 FM, where they gained valuable insights into the world of radio broadcasting.

 

Throughout the visit, the students explored different facets of radio production, including news, sports, and entertainment segments. They engaged actively by sharing their ideas on how radio stations operate and learned about the journey of news from newspapers to digital platforms. A highlight of the tour was the lively newsroom, affectionately called the “mad house,” which showcased the energy and dynamic nature of media operations.

 

The students also received an in-depth look at the production studio, observing the equipment used to create engaging radio content. They were taught the importance of punctuality and proximity as essential qualities for a successful career in media.

 

Mrs. Yemisi Ogunlana Oluwateniola, the General Manager of ERI-NBE FM, addressed the students, emphasizing that managing a media organization demands dedication, effective communication, and teamwork. She welcomed the students warmly and encouraged them to maintain their curiosity and passion for learning.

 

The visit wrapped up with expressions of gratitude from the students, who appreciated the opportunity to learn firsthand about radio broadcasting. The day ended on a positive note with prayers, making it a memorable and inspiring educational experience for everyone involved.
