Femi Azeez Suffers Hamstring Concern in Millwall’s Win Over Bristol City

Millwall winger Femi Azeez was forced off early with a hamstring concern during the club’s 2–0 Championship victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday.
Azeez started the opening-day fixture but was substituted after about 30 minutes after reporting discomfort in his hamstring. He was replaced by fellow winger Kyrell Lisbie.
Millwall manager Alex Neil confirmed after the match that Azeez had felt something in the hamstring but said it was too early to determine the extent of the problem.
The injury is yet to be fully assessed, meaning there is currently no confirmed timeline for Azeez’s return. Reports of a serious injury or a specific period on the sidelines would therefore be premature.
Despite the setback, Millwall began their 2026/27 Championship campaign with a 2–0 victory, with Josh Coburn scoring both goals to secure all three points for Neil’s side.
