The ongoing Lidero Festival 2026 took on a deeply humanitarian tone as His Royal Highness, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, led a delegation of chiefs, community members, association representatives, and well-wishers on a visit to St. Pio Charity Home in Idado, Sagamu.
The visit, which formed part of the festival’s activities, was marked by generosity and heartfelt interaction as the delegation presented foodstuffs and other essential provisions to support the charity home and its children.
Beyond the donations, the occasion provided an opportunity to connect with the children, reinforcing the sense of community and belonging that remains central to the Lidero celebration.
Speaking during the visit, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile expressed his happiness at returning and reconnecting with the children. With visible warmth, the monarch described them as his own and said he was “finally back home to my children.”
