Ogun NUJ to Host APC Governorship Candidate Yayi Friday
The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) is set to host the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on Friday, September 25, at the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe-Iroyin, Abeokuta.
The engagement, scheduled for 2:00 p.m., is expected to provide journalists with an opportunity to interact with the candidate and hear his views on governance, public interest and the development of Ogun State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Members of the council are expected to arrive and be seated by 1:00 p.m. for the engagement.
The meeting comes as political activities continue to gather momentum in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 general elections, with candidates and political parties engaging stakeholders across the state.
The interaction is expected to provide a platform for journalists to raise issues of public interest and obtain responses from the APC candidate on his plans and priorities for the state.
