Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King Hosts Ogun State Police Commissioner for Stakeholder Security Meeting

With a motive to strengthen security collaborations in Ogun State, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, the Golden National Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), hosted the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ogunlowo, at a Stakeholder Engagement Meeting on February 27, 2024.

Held under the theme “Rebuilding Our Security Architecture: A Necessity for Combating New Generation Crime,” the meeting brought together key security stakeholders to discuss strategies for addressing emerging threats and enhancing public safety.

In his address, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking stressed the need for strong synergy between law enforcement agencies and the public, emphasizing that security is a collective responsibility rather than the sole duty of the police.

“Security is a shared obligation. To combat rising security challenges, particularly modern-day crimes, every stakeholder must play an active role in supporting law enforcement,” he said.

Recognizing CP Ogunlowo’s track record of professionalism and dedication, he expressed confidence in the new police commissioner’s ability to enhance security operations across Ogun State.

“CP Ogunlowo is a seasoned officer with a wealth of experience. His leadership will undoubtedly bring about positive reforms in Ogun State policing. I pledge my full support to his administration in fostering a crime-free society,” Aare Emmanuelking added.

The engagement emphasized the need for collective efforts in combating crime, protecting lives and property, and fostering peace across communities. Stakeholders at the meeting shared valuable insights, strengthened partnerships, and reaffirmed their commitment to proactive security measures.

Speaking on behalf of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Radanuwa of Idado, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, assured CP Ogunlowo of the unwavering support of the traditional institution in Remoland in ensuring security and stability.

In his remarks, CP Olanrewaju Ogunlowo expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and overwhelming support from community leaders. He reiterated his commitment to strengthening community policing strategies to ensure safety and security across the state.
