Abiodun appoints 12 new aides and 27 liaison officers
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed 11 new Senior Special Assistants, one Special Assistant, and 27 liaison officers representing the state’s 20 local government areas.
This was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, in Abeokuta on Monday.
The statement listed the Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistant as Ayo Somide, Laide Okunola, Sulaimon Oduwole, Adewale Adesina, Hon. Ola Olufunmilayo, Tayo Mabeweje, Basibo Odoru, Kehinde Bello, Ikienomore Oladipupo Adedeji, Deluola Daniel Babatunde, Doregoes Aaron Oluwatobi, and Rasheed Obanla (Special Assistant).
It further named some of the liaison officers as Dr. Wale Bello and Sulaimon Sanni for Abeokuta North; Odetayo Bolade Mutiu and Mr. Yomi Okanlawon for Abeokuta South; Alhaja Waliat Ogunbiyi and Otunba Rafiu Okewale for Ado-Odo/Ota; Olabode Sunkanmi Adegoye for Ewekoro; and Kikelomo Delano and Kola Hammed Adeniji for Ifo Local Government areas.
Other appointed liaison officers include Owolabi Okunnuga for Ijebu East; Adeyemi Stephen, Nuberu Femi, and Ayo Ogunfowora for Ijebu North; Ayo Ogunfowora also represents Ijebu North-East; Dr. Oluwatosin Olatokunbo for Ijebu Ode; Subomi Olufemi Agesin for Ikenne; Olusola Oke for Imeko/Afon; Wale Agbetokun W. for Ipokia; Aderin Dopemu for Obafemi/Owode; and Musiliu Akanji Akindele for Odeda Local Government.
Additional liaison officers appointed are Ladejobi Shuaib Adebayo for Odogbolu; Wale Ajayi for Ogun Waterside; Sorinola Rasheed for Remo North; Tola Olutayo, based in Belgium, and Lizzy Jekami, both for Sagamu; Musibau Olaleye and Michael Olalere Ejidele for Yewa North; and Samson Salako for Yewa South.
The statement called on all appointees to perform their duties with diligence and dedication, emphasizing their critical role in advancing Governor Abiodun’s developmental vision for Ogun State. This vision is guided by the ISEYA mantra, which focuses on Integrity, Service, Excellence, Youth Empowerment, and Accountability, aimed at fostering sustainable growth and improving the welfare of the state’s residents. The governor expects these aides and liaison officers to actively support and drive this agenda across their respective local government areas to ensure inclusive progress and effective governance.
