Advocates Urge Finance Minister Wale Edun to Contest Ogun Governorship, Citing His Leadership and Commitment to Development
The sociopolitical organization, Advocates for Ogun Development and Innovations, has called on Mr. Wale Edun, the Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, to contest in the upcoming Ogun State governorship race.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by its Public Relations Officer, Majeed Adelakun, the group emphasized that Edun possesses the unique qualifications necessary to lead Ogun at this pivotal time.
They encouraged him to “answer the call of history” by declaring his intention to run for governor in the forthcoming election.
“Beyond his impressive professional background, Mr. Edun is recognized for his strong dedication to empowering communities, fostering sustainable development, and creating lasting prosperity,” the group stated.
His leadership approach, they added, centers on genuine change, and they believe his vision has the potential to propel Ogun State to greater heights.
