AGAIN, ANOTHER SUPER EAGLES STRIKER SUSTAINS INJURY, MIGHT MISS ALGERIA CLASH
Another Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka has been taken off at halftime after he sustained an injury in Slavia Prague’s 3-0 thrashing at Viktoria Plzen.
Furthermore, Leon Balogun and Henry Onyekuru have been ruled out due to injury, but Valentine Ozornwafor and Emmanuel Dennis have been invited to replace them.
Recall that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Sadiq Umar failed to make the squad due to injury.
Well, Peseiro has more to think about, as he may have to replace Olayinka. The 26-year-old got the nod to start for Slavia Prague in their Fortuna Liga cracker against Viktoria Plzen.
It is however, quite unfortunate for him, that he had to be hauled off during the break because of a sustained injury.
The extent of the injury is not known at the time of this report, but Olayinka might yet be available for the Super Eagles.
