Agbowa FC Clinches Victory in Intense Obaruwa Cup Final

Agbowa FC emerged triumphant in a thrilling showdown at the Fc Ebedei Stadium, securing a hard-fought 1-0 win against Surulere FC in the highly anticipated Obaruwa Cup final on Thursday, February 22.

The match was filled with ninety minutes of intense efforts and goal-scoring opportunities, showcasing the determination and skill of both teams.

From the early minutes, Agbowa FC showcased their resilience, with Mohamed Abou Gabal making a crucial save in the 4th minute. Despite the mounting pressure, Agbowa FC remained unfazed and managed to break the deadlock with a goal just before halftime. The second half saw Surulere FC attempting to equalize, but Agbowa FC’s strong defense held firm, denying any chances that came their way.

The Ewusi of Makun, Oba Timothy Akinsanya, along with other esteemed kings and dignitaries, graced the occasion and presented the well-deserved trophy and medals to the victorious Agbowa FC players, marking a momentous celebration of their achievement in the Obaruwa Cup.
