Akarigbo Leads Grand New Year Thanksgiving Service, Uniting Remo, Sagamu in Celebration and Prayer

In a momentous gathering that brought together the Christian Association of Nigeria, PFN, Christians, and residents of Remo and Sagamu, the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi torungbuwa II, hosted a remarkable New Year Thanksgiving Service at the royal event hall, Akarigbo palace premises, ita oba Sagamu. The event, held to express gratitude to God for the blessings of the previous year and seek divine guidance for the new year, was a resounding success.

During the service, the Akarigbo delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing his appreciation to all those in attendance, especially the kings and clerics. He emphasized the importance of continued prayers for peace in Remo, particularly in Sagamu, as it is the key to experiencing the full benefits of the land.

 

The gathering was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities and kings from across Remo land, adding to the significance of the occasion.

In attendance are; Asiwaju SK Onafowokan, Oba samson Adesanya Onijagba of ijagba, Onirolu of irolu oba sikiru Jibowu Adeyiga,Oba Mukaila Akanji Eleposo of Eposo, Aminisan of Oko Oba Odutayo,Oba Odutayo Onidotun of idotun,Oba moshood Oniraye of iraye,Orimadegun of Araromi, Oba Emmanuel Osho,Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile

 

Also in attendance are, Ambassador Dr. Olatokunbo,Bamofin of Remoland,Chief of staff of Akarigbo ,Chief Folashade Olufunmilayo Ajayi, clerics and many other dignitaries of high profile.

The New Year Thanksgiving Service served as a unifying platform, fostering a sense of community and togetherness among the people of Remo and Sagamu. It highlighted the shared values and aspirations of the attendees, who came together in celebration and prayer. The event not only strengthened the bond between the Christian community and residents but also showcased the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Remo land.

 

As the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo land led the congregation in gratitude and supplication, the spirit of hope and optimism for the new year permeated the air.
