Alliance Club of Sagamu USA Donates Essential Medical Equipment to OOUTH

In a remarkable act of generosity, the Alliance Club of Sagamu USA made a significant donation to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) today.
The club, known for its commitment to giving back to the community, presented 10 transport chairs and 5 walking walkers to the esteemed medical facility. The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Oluwabunmi Motunrayo Fatungase, and Dr. Jagun Olusoji Edward, Head of Training and Clinical Services, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the club’s invaluable contribution.
During the donation ceremony, Dr. Fatungase delivered a short address, expressing her deep appreciation for the Alliance Club’s initiative. She emphasized the vital role that such donations play in the growth and development of the hospital.
“We are truly grateful for these generous donations,” she stated. “The transport chairs provided today address one of our major needs. We eagerly look forward to further collaborations with the Alliance Club and other organizations that share our commitment to serving humanity.” Dr. Fatungase said.
Engineer Olugbenga Abayomi Bakare, one of the founding members of the club, reaffirmed their dedication to community service. “Giving back to the community is at the core of our club’s mission,” he emphasized. The event witnessed the presence of Dr. Semiu Bello, an Associate Professor of Mass Communication at OlabisiOnabanjoUniversity Ago Iwoye and the country advisor and representative of the club. Other supporters of the club who witnesses the symbolic presentation include Oluwaseun Ayobami Bakare, and Kunle Abiodun.
The Alliance Club’s donation of transport chairs and walking walkers to OOUTH has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on both the hospital staff and patients. This act of kindness exemplifies the spirit of compassion and humanitarian service that the club embodies.
