Born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe in Abeokuta, Nigeria, Kizz Daniel began writing songs at a young age as he was inspired by artists such as 2Baba, Danfo Drivers, and Wande Coal. Kizz Daniel is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has taken the African music scene by storm. He is known for his catchy melodies, smooth vocals, and danceable beats.
After graduating from Abeokuta Grammar School, he attended the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where he studied Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering). He continues to pursue his passion while studying to bag a degree.
Luck shine on his passion when his debut single “Woju” made a hit across the nation in 2014 after he signed a record deal with G-Worldwide in 2013. The song was followed by a string of successful singles, including “Yeba,” “Laye,” and “One Chance.” In 2016, Kizz Daniel released his debut album, New Era. The album was a critical and commercial success, and it won the Headies Award for Album of the Year.
In 2017, Kizz Daniel left G-Worldwide Entertainment and founded his own record label, Fly Boy Inc. He released his second album, No Bad Songz, in 2018. The album was another success, and it featured the hit singles “Forget Me Not” and “Buga.”
