The second day of the vibrant Atapako Celebration soared to new heights as a colorful rally took place on Tuesday, characterized by exuberant displays of music, dance, and community spirit. The event kicked off with an energetic band display from the talented members of the Remo Plank Sellers and well-wishers, who set the tone for the day’s festivities with joyous songs and spirited performances.
The procession began at the sawmill in Ijokun, winding its way through the scenic streets of Sagamu, culminating in a visit to the revered Akarigbo’s palace at Ita Oba. There, participants paid homage to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, Torungbuwa II, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland in a moment of respect and celebration that underscored the rally’s cultural significance.
