Bobrisky Denies Allegations of Bribing EFCC Officials with N15m
Nigerian socialite and crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has vehemently denied accusations of bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million.
The controversy began when influencer Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, released a voice recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky claiming to have bribed EFCC officials to drop a money laundering charge. The recording also suggested that Bobrisky did not serve his six-month prison sentence for naira mutilation, instead serving time in a lodge arranged by his godfather.
However, Bobrisky took to Instagram to dismiss the allegations, labeling the voice recording as “fake.” He asserted that he did not pay any bribe to EFCC officials and emphasized that he served his prison term in full.
“I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and I came out. Discard any false information,” Bobrisky stated.
