Breaking: President Tinubu Appoints New Presidential Media Advisory Team Members

In a move aimed at strengthening the media and publicity efforts of the Office of the President, President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of a new Presidential Media Advisory Team.
The team, carefully selected to reflect the principles of Nigeria’s federal character and meritocracy, comprises individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Among the appointed members are Mr. Fela Durotoye, who will serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for National Values & Social Justice, and Mr. Fredrick Nwabufo, appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for Public Engagement. Additionally, Mrs. Linda
Nwabuwa Akhigbe has been seconded to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission. The President has emphasized the importance of upholding decorum and decency in engaging with the public as the team works towards renewing hope in Nigeria’s economy and fostering a unified society that caters to the needs of all citizens.
The appointments, which were made with a focus on both merit and the principles of federal character, aim to enhance the media and publicity efforts of the Office of the President. The newly appointed members of the Presidential Media Advisory Team bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles. Mr. Fela Durotoye, known for his advocacy for national values and social justice, will serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for National Values & Social Justice. Mr. Fredrick Nwabufo, on the other hand, has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for Public Engagement, demonstrating the President’s commitment to fostering open and inclusive dialogue with the Nigerian public.
In a further demonstration of Nigeria’s commitment to regional cooperation, Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe has been seconded to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission.
