CAC ONA ABAYO CHURCH BUS STOLEN BY UNKNOWN INDIVIDUALS

The Church bus of the Christ Apostolic Church, Ona Abayo Center which was stolen several days ago has still not been recovered by either the police or the public.

3 days ago, the white branded church bus was reportedly spotted by a church member around 9:00 pm on Iperu road going towards Lagos.

However, the witness couldn’t reach the police because it was late at night but reported to one of the church executives.

It was gathered that the bus was supposed to convey members to their various destinations but had developed a fault at Welder Junction in Araromi and was left there overnight, only for the bus to disappear before dawn.

According to Mr. Akinola, a Chorister and one of the Youths Executives in the church, he said the vigilante in the area had noted that the bus was still seen parked at the welder junction around 5:00am. So, it must have been stolen around 5:00am to 6:00am, he said.

“The incident was reported to the Police division at Awolowo market in Sagamu, but we still haven’t heard any update from them”, he said.

The church has, however, provided necessary information on the bus and calling out to the public to reach out to the following numbers (07031204803, 08107871724) in case the bus is spotted anywhere in or outside Ogun State.
