Cash withdrawal: Angry Nigerians Flood Bank For Cash As Staff Escape Through Fence
Following the insist of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the February 10 deadline for the currency swap. Some banks officials have been having hard time as they are besieged by customers.
The result of the CBN policy have caused millions of Nigerians have been facing untold hardships trooping the banks causing the staff of a bank to climb over the fence to escape their customers.
An eye witness said, “we have staying out here for hours, I mean the crowd as we all need cash, but someone saw the staff climbing through the fence and call other attention ,it is surprising to see the banks staff climbing the fence to escape us, though the entrance have been blocked.
A staff of the bank was heard making calls to the police to come to their aid.
