Amidst the echoes of ancestral blessings and the vibrant display of Yoruba heritage, Chief Ayedungbe Adeboye Adesanya has been officially crowned as the Baale of Ajegunle Araromi Makun. His Royal Majesty, Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya, the Ewusi of Makun, Sagamu, performed the revered investiture, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the community.

The august gathering saw the presence of distinguished Yoruba monarchs who came to honor the occasion. Among them were Oba Sikiru Adeyiga Ajibowu, the Onirolu of Irolu; Oba Adetunji A. Osho, the Alaye of Ode Remo; Oba Solomon Adegboyega Oguntade, the Orimadegun of Araromi; Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemo, the Negbuwa of Ibido; and Oba Evangelist Oladimeji Allison, the Alagura of Agura.

Adding to the grandeur of the event were the Lisa of Makun, revered chiefs, respected dignitaries, and other prominent figures, all gathered to witness this historic transition. The occasion was rich with Yoruba customs— from the soul-stirring beats of the traditional drums to the ancestral rites that conferred blessings upon the new Baale.

With his ascension, Baale Ayedungbe Adeboye Adesanya assumes the esteemed role of a guardian of tradition, a pillar of progress, and a unifier of his people. His reign is anticipated to bring harmony, development, and a renewed commitment to the cultural values of Ajegunle Araromi Makun.
