Chris Jimba Takes Charge as Ogun Nysc 26th State Coordinator

Mr. Chris Olawole Jimba has assumed office as the new helmsman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ogun State.
Mr. Jimba was officially introduced to the staff of the Ogun State Secretariat of the NYSC Scheme as he takes over from his predecessor, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka Ngozi.
At the well-attended colourful handover ceremony which was held at the Okelewo Secretariat of the scheme, Mr.
Chris Jimba assumed office as the 26th Chief Executive Officer in the state.
The new helmsman, who was hitherto State Coordinator in Kwara, promised to build on the legacies and achievements of his predecessor and make staff welfare his top priority.
He called for the support, prayers and cooperation of all staff to enable him to succeed.
The Ekiti State-born Chief Executive implored all staff who have lofty ideas that can move the Scheme forward to walk up to him, saying he would operate an open-door administration.
Earlier in her valedictory speech, the outgoing State Coordinator Mrs. Shokpeka Winifred Ngozi thanked members of staff for their support, prayers and loyalty to her administration and urged them to extend the same courtesy to her successor.
Mrs Shokpeka who has been posted to the FCT Secretariat appealed to staff to continue to maintain the existing atmosphere of love pervading NYSC Ogun State.
