Dangote Refinery Commences Petrol Production, Set to Ease Fuel Scarcity

 

 

 

The Dangote Refinery has officially commenced petrol production. The $20 billion project, spearheaded by visionary entrepreneur Aliko Dangote, is poised to revolutionize the nation’s energy sector and bring succor to millions of Nigerians grappling with fuel scarcity at the moment.

 

At a press briefing on Tuesday, Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, expressed his profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu’s administration for fostering an enabling environment that facilitated the refinery’s successful takeoff. “The government’s unwavering support and commitment to creating a conducive business climate have been instrumental in achieving this monumental feat,” Dangote acknowledged.

By supplying much-needed energy to Nigerians, the refinery is expected to catalyze economic growth, development, and prosperity across the nation.

 

Dangote also commended President Tinubu’s innovative “Naira for crude, Naira for product” initiative, which is anticipated to stabilize the Naira by reducing dollar demand by 40%.
