Dapo Abiodun Affirms Strong Support for PoliceNG Command in Ogun State, Pledges Continued Assistance to POWA

In a recent courtesy visit, Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State, warmly welcomed Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun, the President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) and wife of the Inspector General of Police. The meeting highlighted the administration’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Police Command in Ogun State. Governor Abiodun reassured Mrs. Egbetokun of the government’s continuous support, recognizing the crucial role of the police in maintaining a safe and peaceful society.
During the meeting, Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of the Police Officers’ Wives Association and expressed gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice. The association, comprised of women married to Nigerian police officers, plays a vital role in supporting the police force and ensuring their well-being. The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing the necessary resources and assistance to the association, recognizing the invaluable contribution they make to the security of the state.
