Dapo Abiodun Celebrates World Teachers’ Day, Commends Educators’ Resilience
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has praised teachers for their invaluable contributions to shaping the future of the state and country. In a statement commemorating the 2024 World Teachers’ Day, Abiodun expressed his deep respect for educators, inspired by his father, “Baba Teacher.”
“Teachers are instrumental in shaping the future of our society, and their unwavering dedication is invaluable,” Abiodun said. “We congratulate all teachers in Ogun State, represented by NUT and ASUSS, and commend their resilience in adapting to new policies and challenges.”
Abiodun’s administration has prioritized education through its “Building Our Future Together” agenda. “We are committed to supporting education,” he stated.
The governor acknowledged the global and local difficulties teachers face, yet they continue to serve with dedication. “On behalf of the government and the people of Ogun State, we express our deepest gratitude to all teachers for shaping the future of our state and country,” Abiodun concluded.
Abiodun’s administration has made significant strides in education, including permanent employment for 1,000 OgunTEACH interns, bringing the total number of teachers recruited to 5,000, and investing in digital learning and financial relief programs for students.
