Dapo Abiodun Inaugurates Governing Council for Sikiru Adetona College of Education

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has inaugurated the Governing Council for the Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Science and Technology, Ijebu-Ode. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Exco Chamber, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Governor charged the newly inaugurated members to employ their collective wisdom to uplift the college, ensuring their tenure brings positive developments that complement the state government’s efforts.

The Governing Council members include: Mr. Wole Sowole (Chairman), Engr. Femi Omotayo, Reverend Bola Oyeledun, Maj. Gen. Bamidele Matthew Shafa (Rtd) and Prince Kayode Tejuoso

The Chairman, Mr. Wole Sowole, thanked the Governor for the opportunity, promising that the team would work towards the institution’s success.

The college, established in 1978, has played a significant role in developing teachers for the state’s education sector. The Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, whose name the institution bears, is passionate about its development and has begun fundraising efforts.
