Dapo Abiodun Led Government To Commence Estate Expansion

The Ogun State Government through the Ogun State Housing Corporation has said it would soon commence the construction of the third phase of Prince Court Housing Estate, Kemta Idi-Aba, in Abeokuta, the state capital, to boost the economy and provide employment for the teeming youths.

 

In a statement issued on Sunday by the General Manager of Ogun State Housing Corporation, Wale Ojo, said the project had already provided 5,000 jobs for the unemployed youths in the state through direct labour, especially on the construction site.

 

He said, “The highest employment of labour currently is in the construction industry. In terms of provision of employment and getting people off the road, we have done exceeding 5,000, providing employment for people of Ogun State and getting them busy.

 

“The housing scheme in the state generally has in no small measure contributed to the economic growth and social well-being of the state and the nation at large.”

 

The general manager urged the masses to have maximum confidence in the current government, describing the administration as the mercy of the masses.
