Dapo Abiodun Orders Refund of Recruitment Fees, Waives Charges for Applicants

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has directed the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission to refund all administrative fees paid by applicants in the ongoing civil service recruitment exercise.
The Governor’s directive, communicated through the Secretary to the State Government, aims to alleviate the financial burden on applicants amidst the current economic challenges.
The fees, historically charged for decades, were meant to cover costs associated with independent examiners administering and supervising the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers. However, Governor Abiodun has waived these fees for new applications and ordered refunds for those who have already paid.
Applicants who have already paid the fees will receive refunds, while new applicants will not be required to pay any fees.
