Dapo Abiodun Pays Congratulatory Visit to Kayode Egbetokun, Acting Inspector General of Police

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, paid a working and congratulatory visit to Kayode Egbetokun, the newly appointed Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) on Thursday. The visit was to congratulate Egbetokun on his appointment as the Acting IGP by President Tinubu. Governor Abiodun expressed his commitment to work with the new IGP in ensuring a safe and secure society for the people of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
During the visit, Abiodun commended Egbetokun for his appointment and stated that Ogun State would collaborate with him to achieve their shared goal of a safe and secure society. He also urged the new IGP to uphold the principles of fairness, compassion and respect in the discharge of his duties.
Responding, Egbetokun thanked the Governor for his support and promised to work with him and other state governors to ensure that Nigeria is a safe place for all.
