Dapo Abiodun, Political Leaders Commemorates With Iperu On 38th Akesan Day Celebration

Iperu Remo celebrated her 38th Akesan Day on Saturday, with Governor Dapo Abiodun, Deputy Governor Noimot Salako, over 50 senators, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and other dignitaries in attendance.
The event, held in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, showcased the state’s rich cultural heritage and ongoing development.
In his remarks, Governor Dapo Abiodun commended the Federal Government for approving the construction of Nigeria Customs facilities in Ogun State, further solidifying the state’s position as Nigeria’s industrial hub. He also highlighted key projects, including the Special Agro-Processing Zone at the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, set for completion by the third quarter of 2025.
The Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who led the delegation of senators, praised Governor Abiodun for his infrastructural projects, describing him as “a legislature-friendly governor” who has always been supportive of the National Assembly.
Dr. Ganduje also lauded Governor Abiodun’s efforts, saying he is “leaving history and legacies behind”. The event was attended by senators, traditional rulers, and political leaders, and showcased Iperu Remo’s rich cultural heritage and ongoing development.
