Dapo Abiodun Reaffirms Commitment to Progress, Prosperity on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has called on citizens to return to the foundational values that define Nigeria, emphasizing hard work, honesty, and justice.
In his speech marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Governor Abiodun highlighted the state’s progress in agriculture, energy, and transportation, as well as efforts to support food security, job creation, and small businesses.
The Ogun State government is positioning itself as an emerging economic powerhouse in Nigeria through deliberate policies and initiatives aimed at transforming lives. Despite current economic challenges, Governor Abiodun expressed optimism and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies, designed to foster long-term stability and growth.
Under the ‘ISEYA’ development agenda, the administration’s focus areas include infrastructure development, social welfare enhancement, education improvement, youth empowerment, and agricultural growth. These initiatives aim to upgrade roads, bridges, and public buildings, enhance healthcare and education, provide training and job opportunities, and support farmers and promote food security.
Governor Abiodun urged citizens to remain united, patient, and committed to navigating Nigeria’s economic challenges together.
