Dapo Abiodun Visits Palace of Late Alaperu of Iperu, Pays Tribute to Departed Monarch

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has paid tribute to the late Alaperu of Iperu, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu Basibo, who recently passed away.
In a post on his social media account, Governor Abiodun described the monarch as a “father, a unifier, and a symbol of wisdom and progress” whose reign brought peace, development, and unity to Iperu and beyond.
The governor praised Oba Basibo’s commitment to the welfare of his people, saying his legacy would be forever cherished.
“Kabiyesi was not just a king; he was a father, a unifier, and a symbol of wisdom and progress. His reign brought peace, development, and a deep sense of unity to Iperu and beyond. His love for his people was evident in his unwavering commitment to their welfare, and his legacy will forever be cherished.” Dapo Abiodun wrote.
He also offered prayers for the monarch’s soul, asking for eternal rest and strength for the royal family, chiefs, and the entire Iperu Akesan community during this difficult time.
