Dream FC wins First Edition of Sara Oladeji Foundation Football Competition 

The Adebukola Sara Oladeji Foundation Football Tourney came to a dramatic end as dream FC narrowly defeated Car park C FC in a redemption city derby football clash.

 

Before the final game of the competition, a novelty match was played between the coaches and All stars, which saw the All stars team defeat the Joga Bonito jersey coaches one goal to Nil in what was termed by many as the entertaining match of the day.

Dream FC cruised to Victory after a goal from their jersey number 14 player, Adebayo and another from at the death of the second half. Car park C FC equalized the First goal, but left it late after a defense breaking pass from Abbas to give a lead to his team.

 

The sport director of redemption city, Mr. Paul Oluwasegun Bankole, in his short half-time statement, recognized the exceptional talents at the grass root football, and encouraged them to keep working hard, so they can achieve the peak of success in the profession of footballing.

 

Car park C FC was awarded with 30,000 Naira and a certificate of participation for coming second, and Dream FC a cash prize of 50,000 Naira and a certificate of participation as well.

 

“I’m glad we came out as the winners of this competition. The players are happy, so the coaching crew. This Is indeed the beginning of something great for us.

 

“We are not tired or scared. The guys are ready to keep going and fighting for success. That’s why they call us Dream FC” coach Odubia Sunday said.
